This first shot ( f/5.0 - 1/3200 - ISO 400) seems well balanced ( in terms of both the golden section and rule of thirds) because of the presence of the smaller green boat.
The second (f/5.0 - 1/800s - ISO 400) appears to be proportioned according to the golden section, with the smaller rectangle containing the orange and white boat.
The photo of the man in the kayak ( f/6.3 - 1/1600 - ISO 400) is proportioned as per the rule of thirds.
Photograph 4 ( F/5.0 - 1/4000 - ISO 400) appears to be in accordance with the rule of thirds with the cabin, in particular, at an intersection although the cluster of boats in the background makes this picture a little untidy.
The fifth shot (f/4.0 - 1/800s - ISO 400) of the green harbour repair vessel, appears to me well composed within the parameters of the golden section with the man in the baseball cap being in the smallest rectangle.
Finally, this photo of the moored 'Carmen Mari' ( f/5.0 - 1/1600s - ISO 400) is more difficult to judge. The vessel does lie on an intersection using the rule of thirds but it seems a little
In studying these pictures, I have found the results pleasing, particularly as I would have tried to 'centre' my subject more in the past. For example, the man in the kayak could easily have been ositioned in the centre of the frame but, for me, the shot is stronger for his positioning in accordance with the rule of thirds.
